Feeling love for other's...

Many years ago I remember playing a silly game on the bus. When a stranger would get on and sit in front of me I would make sure to NOT look at their face. Then I would imagine what they looked like, really FEEL what it was like to get inside their head. What they were feeling, thinking - I would close my eyes and REALLY become them - it was a powerful exercise. To my surprise it would astound me when ever I came really close to what they actually DID look like when they got up to leave. I had no idea why I was doing this - I thought just for the heck of it. Now I know it was an exercise in compassion and years later I can look someone deep into someone's eyes and feel their soul touching mine. Long before I even knew this was possible - it would happen, but at the time I was not comfortable with it and would look away from people when the energy became to intense. Now I am able to hold that gaze and pull from it so much love and understanding about the person. Every person has the ability to do this, all you have to do is get past yourself/ego. Let go of uncertainty and embrace each other as the spiritual beings that you are and fall into a whole new way of "seeing" - into each other's hearts. If people just did this, this easy thing, this natural thing - imagine how much love would be created!
I had a vision once - I was radiating from source/God/consciousness/ as a beam of light and across from me was another person whom I did not know. We looked into each other's eyes - both very uncertain as to what was going on but then suddenly we both understood. As we gazed into each other's eyes I became fully aware that she was ME - we were one in the same as though looking into a mirror. Then it was over, in a split second I was awaken back to this reality - but with a deep understanding of how there is no ONE person but just one ENERGY - LOVE between all things.
If only we could show compassion for other's and realise that by doing this we are really showing compassion for ourselves.
When you look into someone's eyes - take a moment to REALLY look and perhaps you will see a glimpse of yourself and love shall be created! It is really that easy.

Love

In your eyes there was this light and I fell hypnotised by the purity that spilled forth. And though you did not breathe a word - you knew and I knew what was happening between us. Now this day had opened up to me all of it's meaning in every way possible. I have known for a very long time my purpose but now I fully believe in my destiny. I shall further my dreams and push my spirit beyond the blue skies of this world. I will lose myself as the body and nurture myself as the soul. I intend to heal, to grow and to soar to freedom until freedom falls into my arms as naturally as a sleeping child. -MJLC
